1994 Gulf Copper 15M Work Boat. The vessel is classified in repairable condition. This 50-foot steel hull work boat was modified for dive operations and has been laid up since December 2025, showing heavy corrosion throughout. DESCRIPTION: NAVY HULL REGISTRY NUMBER: 15MWB9401 MANUFACTURERS HIN: NONE DESCRIPTION: 15 METER WORK BOAT BUILDER: GULF COPPER MFG CORP YEAR: 1994 HULL MATERIAL: STEEL *****ALL WEIGHTS AND MEASUREMENTS PROVIDED ARE APPROXIMATE AND MAY VARY***** OVERALL LENGTH (APPROX): 50' MAX BEAM (APPROX): 14' PROPULSION: Twin Cummins Diesel 6BTA5.9-220 inboard engines FEATURES: 15 meter (50 foot) work boat modified for dive operations; pilothouse with bench seating; galley with sink, table and bench seats; head with shower; covered aft deck; tool chest; generator. Engines, propulsion, and generator reported operational when laid up in December 2025. DISCREPANCIES (INCLUDE BUT MAY NOT BE LIMITED TO): Boat has been laid up since December of 2025; heavy corrosion throughout the boat. REMOVAL: This boat must be removed by waterway. Engines operated prior to placing in IEM so the boat could be driven out to the bay. Vessel being towed is also an option. Please plan accordingly. *****Inspection is strongly suggested. Electrical systems were not energized and mechanical systems were not rotated during the inspection used to prepare the boat or equipment offered for sale. Repairs may be required to make operational. Any law enforcement/military equipment that appears in a photo will be removed by the government prior to the sale. These items include gun mounts, blue lights, sirens and specialized radios and their mounts. ****Lifting slings, rigging gear and shackles, if provided, may not be certified or serviceable. It is the responsibility of the successful bidder to ensure that any hoisting and rigging gear purchased with a boat is certified and serviceable prior to using it to hoist the boat. Please plan removal accordingly. ****The successful bidder is responsible for the proper disposal of oily water that may have accumulated in the boat. No work other than the disposal of oily water may be accomplished prior to removal without the express written consent of the contracting officer of record. ****Successful bidders are cautioned that they will be solely responsible for loading and removal of any and all property awarded to them from the exact place where the property is located. ****Successful bidders will be provided with a Purchasers Receipt/Bill of Sale and a request for certification of build form, which they will need to send to Naval Surface Warfare Center. Note that a quasi-title will be required from the original purchaser in the event the boat is resold. ****The use, disposition, export and re-export of any property is subject to all applicable U.S. laws and regulations, including the Atomic Energy Act of 1954, as amended; the Arms Export Control Act (22 USC 2752 et seq.); the Export Administration Act of 1979 (50 U.S.C. 2401); DOE Regulations (10 C.F.R. Part 110; International Traffic In Arms Regulations (22 CFR 120 et seq.); Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. 701 et seq.); Foreign Assets Control Regulations (31 CFR 500 et seq.); and The Espionage Act (37 USC 791 et seq.) which among other things, prohibit: (a) the making of false statement and concealment of any material information regarding the use or disposition, export or re-export of the property; and (b) any use or disposition, export or re-export of the property which is not authorized in accordance with the provisions of the agreement. ****Please note: A Quasi Title will be required from the original purchaser in the event the boat is resold.
