1997 Ford F-250 7.3L Diesel V8 4 Door "OBS" (Old Body Style) Dual fuel tanks, with 7.6 foot Western Snow Plow and aftermarket utility cap. The Fire District is currently updating its fleet and is parting with a vehicle that has served our community well over the years. As expected with its age and dedicated service, the vehicle shows normal wear and tear, including some rust in areas typical for this specific make and model. This truck has been professionally maintained throughout its lifecycle. It features a Jasper replacement transmission, along with an updated alternator and dual batteries. Additional parts replaced over the years include the starter, glow plugs, vacuum pump, serpentine belt, various brake lines, the 4WD linkage, and the center carrier bearing. The fuel system has also been refreshed with a new fuel filter, filter housing, and tank sending unit. Exterior decals will be removed or covered by the close of the sale. PLEASE NOTE: Emergency lights will remain on the vehicle, and all official fire department equipment, including radios and traffic control devices, will be removed prior to the close of the auction.
