All Ohio residents are required to pay sales tax based on the address listed on their driver's license. If your current address does not match your license, this must be corrected with the State—not us. We strictly use the address on your driver's license and will not make exceptions for alternate addresses under any circumstances. Sales tax will be collected at the time of vehicle pickup for all states where required by law. We accept cash or check. If a check is returned or does not clear, all paperwork will be held until the balance has been paid in full. Title will be mailed to the address listed on the GovDeals profile after being assigned by our local title agency into the buyer's name. We do not release open titles. Proof of insurance is required if the vehicle will be driven off the lot at the time of pickup. The vehicle being purchased must be listed on your active insurance policy. We will not accept proof of insurance for a different vehicle. If proper proof of insurance is not provided, the vehicle will not be permitted to be driven off the property and must be towed by either us or a transport service of your choice. If the buyer will not be present at pickup and elects to send a third party or transport company, a signed Power of Attorney (POA) will be required authorizing that individual or company to sign all necessary paperwork on the buyer's behalf. The POA must be provided prior to pickup, and the person picking up the vehicle must present valid identification. Vehicles will not be released without the required documentation.
