We received this vehicle from a local owner after her son began replacing the radiator but was unable to finish the job. We completed the repair, and the Outback started easily, ran well, and performed exactly as expected during our testing. The body is straight and presents well, especially for a 20-year-old vehicle. There is a scuff on the front bumper, as shown in the photos. The interior is clean, with leather seats that are free of tears, stains, or significant wear. The attached Carfax report includes documented service history. The timing belt and water pump were replaced at approximately 125,000 miles, and additional maintenance has been performed over the years. Front and rear brakes and tires were replaced at 123K miles. Overall, this appears to have been a well-maintained vehicle. Our evaluation included a 30-minute warm-up and idle period followed by a 15-minute road test on streets, the highway, and gravel roads. The vehicle performed well throughout the test drive with no issues noted. The air conditioning blows cold, the AWD system operates properly, no warning lights were illuminated during our inspection and road test, and the tires have good tread remaining.
