Groen EE-40 is a commercial 40-gallon, stationary, floor-mounted electric steam-jacketed kettle designed for high-volume foodservice operations. It acts as a highly efficient alternative to traditional stockpot ranges, delivering precise and uniform heat that prevents scorching and burning. Key Technical Specifications Capacity: 40 gallons (approximately 150 liters). Heating Mechanism: Self-contained electric steam source factory-charged with water and rust inhibitors. It operates at temperatures ranging from 150°F to 270°F.Jacket Design: 2/3 partial jacket rated for working pressures up to 30 PSI. Material Construction: High-durability stainless steel with a specialized Type 316 stainless steel inner liner, which provides superior corrosion resistance against high-acid foods like tomato and barbecue sauces. Dispensing & Drainage: Features a 2-inch sanitary tangent draw-off (TDO) valve with a removable 1/4-inch perforated strainer to separate solids from liquids.
